SPEECH PATHOLOGIST AND CENTRE DIRECTOR

Danielle Kim (BAppSc (SpPath), MECh MSPA, CPSP)

Danielle is the Centre Director of Seed Therapy & Learning. She worked extensively in a variety of educational settings including preschools and primary schools providing speech pathology services before working in private practice. Passionate about early intervention, Danielle has also completed a Master of Early Childhood at Macquarie University.

In her previous roles, Danielle has been a School-based Clinical Educator for the Discipline of Speech Pathology at the University of Sydney. She has also shared her knowledge and experience as a consultant for KU Northern Sydney SCAN (Supporting Children with Additional Needs), presenting on numerous occasions to Early Childhood Professionals on topics such as supporting children's communication development and inclusive practice. Danielle's clinical interests have been school-aged literacy, social communication skills, Autism Spectrum Disorder and supporting adults with intellectual disability. Danielle can provide assessments and therapy services in Korean.


SPEECH PATHOLOGIST AND PRACTICE MANAGER

Sarah Her (MSLTprac, MSPA, CPSP).

Sarah is a Speech Pathologist and a Practice Manager at the centre. With over 15 years of clinical experience as a Speech Pathologist, Sarah has worked in the department of education, transdisciplinary early intervention organisation and in clinics with a wide range of client groups. Sarah has extensive experience in providing both assessment and intervention services to children and their families. 

She has worked closely with preschools and schools to provide direct therapy to clients and also to provide consultative services to families and educators. Sarah's clinical interests are working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, school-aged literacy and early intervention. Sarah is trained in Hanen (More than words), Sounds~Write (phonics program), Blades, Management of stuttering using syllable timed speech, Traffic Jam in my brain (sensory processing) and many more. Sarah can provide assessments and therapy both in Korean and English.


SENIOR SPEECH PATHOLOGIST

Han Sol Kim (BAppSc (SpPath) MSPA, CPSP)

Han Sol is a Senior Speech Pathologist who completed her Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) at The University of Sydney. She is committed to providing collaborative working relationships with each client and their family to set holistic and functional goals. Her clinical interests include bilingualism, working with late talkers and clients with developmental delays. To continuously expand and update her skills, Han Sol is actively involved in professional development activities. She has completed Hanen (More Than Words) training, DIR 101 Floortime, Writing Approach to Reading (WRAP), various Lindamood Bell programs, The Traffic Jam in My Brain, Natural Language Acquisition in Autism and many more. Han Sol can provide assessment and therapy services in Korean.


SENIOR SPEECH PATHOLOGIST

Justina Sun (BAppSc (SpPath) MSPA, CPSP)

Justina is passionate about helping people to achieve their communication goals and has experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disability. She completed her degree at the University of Sydney and was previously involved in research about late talkers. Justina's clinical interests include bilingualism and literacy. She has been trained in the Hanen More Than Words® program, Sounds-Write, DIRFloortime 101, and LAMP Words for Life. She can also provide speech therapy in Mandarin.


SENIOR SPEECH PATHOLOGIST (MAT LEAVE)

Sera Hwang (BAppSC (SpPath), CPSP)

Sera is a certified practicing Speech Pathologist who has worked extensively with children and young people. She has worked in government and early intervention organizations as well as the private sector. Sera has clinical interests in working with culturally and linguistically diverse families, children and young people with disabilities, early language development, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, social skills and feeding. She highly values family and person centred practice and strives to provide holistic supports. 

Sera has trained in multiple Hanen programs (‘It takes two to talk’, ‘More than words’, ‘Talkability’ and ‘Target word’), Social Thinking program, BLADES therapy, Zones of Regulation and also has training in literacy and feeding programs. Sera can provide Speech Pathology assessments and therapy services in Korean.  


SPEECH PATHOLOGIST

Xhan Ong (MSPA, CPSP)

Xhan is a Certified Speech Pathologist who completed her Master’s degree in Speech Pathology at the University of Technology Sydney and her Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology in the Philippines. She is passionate about working collaboratively with clients and families to achieve communication goals and improve the overall quality of life. Xhan has experience working and volunteering in different work settings. She has also worked with children and adults with varying types of disabilities and collaborated with various multidisciplinary team members. Her clinical interests are language, literacy, speech, and social communication. She is committed to expanding her knowledge and skills by training and participating in professional development activities


SPEECH PATHOLOGIST

Elizabeth Kim (BSpHSc, MSpchLngPath, MSPA-CPSP)

Elizabeth is a Certified Speech Pathologist who completed her Bachelor's of Speech and Hearing Science and Master's of Speech and Language Pathology degrees at Macquarie University. Her special interests include advocacy, working with culturally and linguistically diverse families, and people with disabilities. She has experience volunteering and working with adults and children with diverse needs. She is familiar with working as an Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapist to deliver individualised and strength based goals in a neuroaffirming approach. She also has experience assisting research in paediatric language development. She aims to support her clients in achieving their goals by closely collaborating with key stakeholders in their support network. She is committed to developing her skills through professional development and widening her experiences. 

SPEECH THERAPY aSSISTANTS

Grace, Yoon Ha, Jennifer, Olivia and Evelyn are our Speech Therapy Assistants. Their role is to work under the direction of our Speech Pathologists and provide additional sessions for our clients. These additional sessions are beneficial in reinforcing learning as they allow for repeated opportunities for practise.


PRACTICE COORDINATOR

Judy Yoo

Judy is the first point of contact for clients enquiring about the services we provide. She is dedicated to assisting families with any questions or concerns they may have by working closely with the therapists. Judy is also responsible for scheduling appointments and ensuring that the clinic runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

In her spare time, Judy enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music and playing the piano.
