What is a Speech Pathologist?
Our Speech Pathologists are highly experienced health professionals who assess and provide therapy for children and young adults who may need support with their communication skills.

Difficulty with pronouncing sounds
Speech is not clear and not understood by people

Late-talkers
Using gestures to communicate
Difficulty responding to others
Difficulty understanding concepts (e.g. “under”, “next to”)
Difficulty following instructions
Difficulty formulating and speaking in sentences
Difficulty recounting events
Slow to learn new words

Difficulty with knowing letter names and sounds
Difficulty with reading words
Difficulty with spelling
Difficulty with writing sentences and structuring ideas
Poor reading comprehension skills
